From the Pasture to the Portrait
Hi, I’m Autumn Elizabeth. I’m a Midwest girl at heart living in the heart of Texas. I’ve lived just about everywhere corn grows and the skies stretch wide, but these days I call College Station home and proudly wear the Aggie maroon. I’ve had a camera in my hand for most of my life, and for the past four years, I’ve had the joy of doing it professionally.
My love for photography started in the pasture, chasing light and capturing the quiet beauty of my horses. That’s where I first learned to see the world through emotion and connection, and where God began shaping a passion that would grow into a calling.
Today, I specialize in photographing weddings, couples, and seniors. I’m drawn to the moments that feel real, the teary vows, the laughter that fills the air, the way two people naturally reach for each other. Photography is my way of honoring the stories people are living, and I’m so grateful to be part of them. I focus on creating timeless, heartfelt, and authentic images that help you remember not just how it looked, but how it felt.

Married my best friend in 2023
Joel and I tied the knot in July 2023, and experiencing a wedding as a bride gave me a whole new perspective. I felt all the emotions, noticed the little details, and realized just how powerful it is to preserve moments that matter. Joel is my best friend and the calm in every storm. That season deepened my love for photographing couples and helped me see the heart behind every celebration.
Horses have always been part of my story
I grew up around them and learned so much from their quiet strength. Everest, my Gypsy cross gelding, has been with me through college, grad school, and every season in between. I still show him at local stock shows, and being in the ring with him reminds me of the values I was raised with. He’s steady, honest, and a constant reminder of the life I love.
Finding Joy in the Everyday
I’m obsessed with baking, especially sourdough. There’s something peaceful about the process and how it invites you to slow down. I also have a running list of chocolate chip cookie recipes I’m working through, always chasing the next best one. These quiet hobbies remind me of God’s goodness and the beauty in simple things. Whether it’s a loaf of bread, a sunset, or a conversation that lingers, I try to see His hand in all of it.
I’m drawn to the hard questions
I earned my undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Kansas State, where I first became fascinated by the genetic mechanisms behind cattle health. Now, as a full-time PhD student in Animal Genetics at Texas A&M, I spend my days studying bovine congestive heart failure and the complex traits that influence disease resistance. My work focuses on identifying genetic patterns that can help producers make better breeding decisions and improve animal welfare. It’s a deep dive into data, biology, and the kind of questions that don’t have easy answers, but that’s exactly what keeps me going.
